Privacy Policy

Effective: 2 July 2026

LoveType is a relationship self-reflection app. This policy explains what information we collect, how it's used, and what stays on your device.

What we collect

We collect anonymous usage events (for example: a test was started, a test was completed, the paywall was viewed) linked to a random device ID that is generated on your device. We never collect your name, email address, phone number, or your quiz answers.

Where it goes

Anonymous usage events are stored on secure servers (via Supabase) to help us understand how the app is used and to improve it over time. If you voluntarily submit feedback through the app, that feedback is stored securely and is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

Your answers

Your quiz answers and results are stored only on your device, in the app's private local storage. They are never transmitted to our servers.

In-app purchases

We use RevenueCat to manage the app's one-time premium unlock. Apple handles all payment information directly — we never see or store your payment details.

Third-party services

  • RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and purchase status
  • Supabase — stores anonymous usage analytics and optional feedback

Your rights

You can delete all local data at any time from Settings → Reset all test results. Because we don't collect identifiable data, we have no way to locate or delete a specific person's anonymous ID from our servers on request — there is nothing in our data that identifies you.

Children

LoveType is not directed at children and is not intended for users under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
